Despite a period of rapid change, Lighthouse Foundation has managed to expand its impact and go further to achieve our mission of ending youth homelessness over the last financial year, while keeping our young people at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to report that in the first year of our three-year expansion strategy to increase our impact, we have achieved 100% growth in the number of children and young people being supported through our programs.
Our supporters have also risen to the challenge of these difficult times. There are rising mental health crises in this third year of the pandemic, family violence has increased, and the higher cost of living is pushing more children, young people, and families to the brink of homelessness. Yet our supporters have achieved more than ever before in fundraising and contributions.
Thank you to our supporters for your commitment to step up for our young people, it makes a real difference to each young life. We are now going into the next year of our three-year growth phase with the aim to positively impact more young people by growing our supporter base.
