Lighthouse Foundation is blessed by a dedicated team of volunteers offering their time, skills and expertise. Without their commitment Lighthouse would not be able to provide the level of service required for the young people requiring our support.

Volunteering at Lighthouse Foundation is an enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding experience which offers individuals the opportunity to pursue many areas of interest including:

• Fundraising
• Home Maintenance
• Office Support
• Mentoring
• Tutoring

In addition, Lighthouse Foundation greatly benefits from volunteers formed into “Community Committees” who provide direct support to a home. Each Committee establishes links to the local community, raises funds and assists with basic home and garden maintenance. The regular meetings are relaxed and enjoyable occasions shared with other volunteers working towards common goals.

Further strengthening Lighthouse Programs are the relationships formed through Corporate Volunteering opportunities. Team-based one off activity or longer-term individual opportunities are structured following discussion between the company and Lighthouse Foundation.
