Organise an Event

Do you have a great idea for a fundraising event?  We would love to hear from you!

Events are an important activity for Lighthouse, as they can deliver two key benefits to the organisation:

• Financial assistance
• Enhancing Lighthouse’s profile, within the broader community and/or within a defined market segment

Lighthouse engages in three types of events:

1. Events organised by the Lighthouse Business Development Team (including sub-committees) – eg the Great Celebrity Raffle
2. Events organised by individual House Committees - eg Shall We Dance, organised by the Richmond Committee
3. “Supporter Events”, or events organised by third parties - eg Advertising Art Auction, organised by an external advertising agency
