The Pines Lighthouse, Cheltenham

The Pines Lighthouse in Cheltenham is supported by The Anglican Sisters of the Community of the Holy Name, who have made this beautiful property available to Lighthouse "rent-free".

This home was officially opened by the then Minister for Housing, The Hon Bronwyn Pike, in October 2002. In 2003, Kids Under Cover provided two bungalows to increase the number of bedrooms to accommodate the Lighthouse family.

"The Pines" derived its name from the large stand of cypress pines that grew northern perimeter of the property.

"The Pines" is currently being run by Lighthouse as a transitional home for our young people, utilising the unique ACT Program (Adult Community Transition Program)
