East Malvern Lighthouse
The East Malvern Lighthouse was opened in 2003, purchased from the proceeds of the sale of the original Toorak Lighthouse. It is a lovely old home with large rooms and loads of character. The focal point of the house during the summer months is the swimming pool, which is also a great meeting place for the young people from the other houses.
From August 2007, the East Malvern home has been temporarily closed, as it is undergoing significant repair and maintenance. It is anticipated that the home will be re-opened in early 2008.
